Zoe is running herself ragged. After suffering horrific injuries in a car crash caused by a drunk driver, she was left as the only survivor. She has been shunned by most of the town. She is frantically working to pay off her medical bills and look after her gran, who has developed Alzheimer’s. When an accident at one of her courier drop offs leads to injury, she finds herself in the capable care of Roark Stinson, one of the towns most eligible bachelors.

Roark’s Granddad died and in his usual crusty way determined that Roark and his brothers won’t inherit the company unless they marry and procreate within a year of his death! When he learns of Zoe’s debt and circumstances he realises he can dodge the gold-diggers and help out someone who deserves it at the same time. It helps that he is actually attracted to the ball of energy that is Zoe!

Zoe and Roark are striking characters. Zoe is just the little engine who could, surviving on little sleep and determined to do everything herself. Roark, who could be a playboy, is actually a really nice guy under the layer of self imposed severity. His brothers are all so different and unique in their own ways – I can’t wait to see what happens to them! Great read and I want more!!!!
